Lessons in Leadership

I’ve just come back from a weekend of input and inspiration at the annual conference for Business English trainers and the focus was, of course, on AI and ChatGPT and how we can use it to help ourselves and  you! It was wonderful to network with trainers from all over Europe and get lots of new ideas, some of which I’ll be trying out on some of you in the next few weeks – so watch this space!

Funnily enough, it was at the same conference many years ago that I attended a great workshop on leadership using clips from a very old film from 2000 – Chicken Run. I was very proud of myself for finding the clips in my digital files and look forward to sharing them with some of you next week. It’s really cute and I watched it again on Netflix – the first time I watched it was on videotape, but the leadership skills shown are still very valid. You may need subtitles when you decide to watch it as there is a real variety of accents!
