I really enjoyed some family time both at home and in England and was in such a relaxed mode, I overslept my first breakfast Zoom lesson last week \u2013 many apologies Marion but I\u2019m happy to say that it was only the second time in nearly 25 years \ud83d\ude0a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m sure you\u2019re all planning to do more for your English skills \ud83d\ude0a. You\u2019ll find some tips in my blog a year ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you want to try one or two of them last year but somehow never got round to it? Well rest assured, you\u2019re definitely not alone \ud83d\ude0a. If you sometimes find it difficult to include new routines (not just English ones) into your busy lives you might like to ask yourself the following coaching questions which I really like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What can I change in myself to actually achieve my aims (e.g. set myself a daily 10 minute appointment)?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What could be my first small step in the right direction (e.g. download the TED app)?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How have I successfully overcome a similar obstacle in the past? (e.g. I learned a different skill)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is my secret resource I can turn to (e.g. I like setting myself challenges)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I decided last year to read more novels and am actually achieving it by putting my phone away before I go to bed.
